This year, we are honored to celebrate our founder, Mary LeFever, as she turns 96! Mary’s led a life devoted to children, education, and the values that define The Walden School.

In tribute to Mary’s legacy, we invite you to make a $96 gift to Walden’s Annual Fund in her honor.

All gifts support Walden’s Annual Fund, which helps us meet essential operating costs and sustain the heart of our school. Every contribution directly impacts our ability to provide the Montessori-based education we all cherish, as well as the adoption of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme in our Elementary School.

Like many independent schools, there’s a gap between the cost of tuition and the true cost of educating a student. At Walden, it costs more than $22,000 to provide each child with the exceptional, child-centered education that defines our community. Yet, we keep tuition under $19,000 on average to ensure a Walden education remains accessible to as many families as possible.
